The Gardens
Our gardens still show the evidence of the settler's plantings: 100 year old Black Locust and
Apple trees, huge Camellias and other mature trees, even some Peonies and Roses - great bones.
We've tried planting and maintaining for the wildlife around which means that neatness is not
always the highest priority. But there's always something in bloom and interesting things
to look at. Each year we become better stewards of this beautiful bit of land and we hope to
leave it better for future generations.
